Yale Day of Service

As part of the Yale alumni tradition, Yalies around the world take part in an annual Day of Service as part of a global effort to share intellect, creative energy and engagement with their local communities. YCL is proud to be part of this tradition.

For over a decade, YCL has partnered with grassroots organisation which provide strategic support for marginalised groups in our community. Past endeavours have included career advice and coaching, painting local community centres, bowling with the unhoused, gardening with immigrant communities, families and the elderly, and arts-orientated days out for young refugees.

If you are involved with a charitable endeavour which would benefit from a day of engagement from a group of enthusiastic alumni, or if don’t have an idea but have energy to take the initiative, or even if you just would like to participate, we would be keen to hear from you. Do please get in touch!
